Small print, sensible version
Privacy & Cookies
World Cup Glory is a fan-made game. The stats are here to see whether people are enjoying it, not to build profiles or follow anyone around the internet.
What we collect
If you accept analytics, the app stores a random visitor ID in your browser and a random session ID for the current visit. These are used to count page views, visits, unique visitors, completed campaigns, simulated matches, World Cups won, and popular drafted players.
Completed campaign stats may include the players drafted, the team you started with, tournament result, match count, and whether the trophy was won.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, passwords, email addresses, payment details, advertising trackers, or third-party profiling scripts. The app does not need to know who you are to discover that Scotland winning the World Cup is statistically hilarious.
Cookies and browser storage
The app uses browser storage for two things: remembering whether you accepted analytics, and, if accepted, storing the anonymous visitor/session IDs. Saying no means page-view analytics will not run.
You can change your choice from the footer cookie settings link, or clear your browser data to remove the stored IDs and consent choice.
Data ownership and removal
World Cup Glory is unofficial and claims no ownership over third-party names, marks, tournament references, or football data. If something needs removing, correcting, or crediting differently, it can be changed.
